PORTRAIT SESSION INFORMATION
Arrive for your shoot with your hair and make-up EXACTLY as you want them.
You will be much more relaxed if you are not rushed
Don't Try a New Hairstyle on the day of the Shoot!! BUT bring small combs or pins to pull your hair to the side for that side-swept look that is so popular now.
Bring Brush or Comb for touch-ups.
IF YOU GO TO A SALON . . .
Schedule enough time after appointment to dress, apply make-up and drive to the studio.
Be sure the salon will take you ON-TIME.
Allow extra time for delays.
Bring Face Powder to reduce shine.
Even if you do not normally wear make up, wear it for your pictures. Put on eye make-up a little heavier than usual as well as make-up base.
Use cover-up to hide Blemishes.
Solid outfits usually photograph better than prints but there are always exceptions.
Avoid deep V-necks, ordinary white blouses, heavy sweaters, big floral prints.
Sleveless tops can make arms look heavy & I prefer to see you in cute tops, chiffon & crochet tops, jackets, vintage anything, bring them over for your "shoot" & I'll help you decide what to wear.
Bring jeans, skirts (mini, funky or long)
Prom Dresses (Yep...we'll do them outside & makes a great casual shot) & Sundress are great.
Make sure changing is easy and will not destroy your hair
Stop by Opti-World or some other optician and get a pair of frames with no glass in them so we will not have glare.
Opticians will usually let you charge frames out.
Shoes/Boots - we'll do some pics barefoot, some where feet don't show, but by all means bring boots & if you have some cute heels we'll photograph you in those also.
IMPT: Mom & Student - Wear shoes that will allow you to walk on pine needles
